Facilities Use

 

 

The Parkdale Rural Fire Protection District is very willing to share our facilities with the public for meetings, events or gatherings. However there are a few guidelines for using our facilities. First when scheduling a time to use the facilities it is important to sign up with the district for use of the meeting room. This can be accomplished by calling (541) 352-6092. Only one group is allowed in the station at a time. However we have two stations that are available for use: the Parkdale Station at 4895 Baseline Drive and the Dee Station at 5235 Lost Lake Road.

 

Non-Profit Groups, Meetings or Classes

A $50.00 cleaning deposit will be collected prior to use of the facility and returned upon inspection of the facility by district staff. A key to the facility will be issued to the renter by the district when the renter places their deposit with the district and will be returned when the following conditions have been met.

• The area used will be swept, and moped. Mop water will be emptied out and equipment stored away properly.
• All garbage cans will be emptied and new can liners put in.
• All tables and chairs will be placed back how they were found.
• The facility should look better when you leave than when you got there.
• If the kitchen is used all dishes and all other cookware will be washed, dired and put away.

 

Parties or For-Profit Classes

Rules for Use

• Alcohol is NOT allowed on fire district property.
• Smoking is NOT allowed in fire district buildings.
• You may not enter the apparatus bays.
• The building must be locked and all windows closed upon leaving the facility.
• Turn off all lights before leaving.
• No parking in front of apparatus bay doors.
• Cannot be in station before 6 a.m. and must be out of the station by 11 p.m. without special approval.

Prior to use, we ask that you come up to the station and take a tour of the facilities to understand where the cleaning supplies are and what areas are off limits.
